Our method

How we keep guidance verifiable

Slim Woonplan separates facts, assumptions and commercial relationships. This helps you assess how a conclusion was reached and when information needs another review.

01

Source before claim

Changing information receives a traceable source, reference date and validity status.

02

Range before promise

Calculations show scenarios and assumptions; an estimate is never presented as a guarantee.

03

Suitability before revenue

Commission does not influence an editorial product score or recommendation.

04

Draft before publication

New content goes live only after the relevant editorial and technical checks pass.

Sources

We start with the most authoritative source

The right source depends on the type of claim. This is our default order for the Netherlands.

  1. 1Legislation and official government sources
  2. 2Implementation bodies, regulators and standards organisations
  3. 3Scientific and technical publications
  4. 4Grid operators and reliable industry data
  5. 5Manufacturer documentation for their own product specifications
  6. 6Commercial providers only for their own prices and terms
Revenue model

Transparent about commercial links

Slim Woonplan may receive a fee when you follow a clearly marked link to a provider. Commercial sections also state when they do not cover the whole Dutch market.

A higher fee never changes the editorial ranking.
